Dodgeball Fundraiser for a Friend (Sat., May 21)

Our student and Demo Team member, Kristian Copes-Banks, was involved in a serious accident in March and will need to undergo special neurological therapy out of town. Join us for a FUNdraiser to help his family with expenses associated with travel and time away from home.

  • Age 8–12: 6:00–7:00pm.
  • Age 13–17: 7:30–8:30pm.

    "Life Bands" ... one-time user per game to stay in the game. Life Bands are $2 each; max life bands 5 for $10. Life Bands can only be purchased during the 1st round and cannot be purchased once the 2nd round starts (quantities limited).

    Double Elimination — If you have a team, we'll take your team. If you don't have a team, we'll determine which team you're on the night of the event. Space is limited to 50 participants per age group.

    Advanced registration is required. All participants must have a fully signed "waiver release" and be filled out by his/her own parent or legal guardian on the site.

    Karate John's Summer Hyper Camps

    At our Hyper Martial Arts Summer Camps your kids will learn real self-defense skills from a certified black belt instructor. Camps include kicks, tricks, flips, tumbling, safe weapons training, exciting games, friendships and confidence building activities, character and life lessons and much more! No martial arts back needed.

    Space is limited to 20 kids per camp so act now to reserve your spot in one or all of the following weeks: June 27, July 25, August 8, August 15.

    This event will take place from 9:00am-3:30pm.



    S.T.O.R.M. Training (Sat., May 7)

    Do you have what it takes to be a successful leader? Join us for Special Team Of Role Models training. Leadership skills are valuable not just in karate, but also in other areas of your life. Successful leaders will lead by example. They have confidence, communicate effectively, take responsibility for their actions and follow their own moral principles rather than bend to peer pressure. Participants will learn techniques that will enable them to become good helpers, leaders and role models for other students. Space is limited to 20 Junior and Adult students, Solid Purple Belts and Above.

    S.T.O.R.M. team members age 12+ may also volunteer at the Parent's Night Out event as part of S.T.O.R.M. hours. Let Shihan know if you want to help out.

    This event will take place from 1:00pm-3:00pm.



    Parents' Night Out (Sat., May 14)

    Dodgeball and other exciting games, ninja bounce house, karate games, slice of pizza, juice, and a kid-friendly movie. Wear a white or neon shirt for the glow room. Non-members are always welcome with a waiver, fully completed by their own parent. SPACE IS LIMITED — Register early before it fills up!

    This event will take place from 5:30pm-9:00pm (doors open at 5:20).
